Understanding Your Course Content and Qualification Options

(Policy: Training Delivery, Expectations & Qualification Structure)

Purpose of this Policy

This policy ensures you fully understand:

  • What is included in your training package

  • Which techniques are taught at each level

  • How our training is structured

  • The difference between accredited training and Level 4 Micropigmentation

  • Your responsibilities regarding licensing and practice requirements

By reading and signing, you confirm you understand what you are booking, what is delivered, and what expectations apply.

Our Training Structure (Important)

All of our PMU courses are delivered in three structured phases:

  1. Online Pre-Learning Modules
    You must complete this before attending your academy days.

  2. In-Person Academy Training Days
    Practical learning with expert tuition and supervised treatment experience.

  3. After-Care Training Support
    This includes mentoring, shadow days, coaching calls and progression checkpoints.

➡️ This is NOT a basic 2–3 day course.
It is a full learning journey designed to set you up for long-term success.

Who Teaches Your Training

Depending on your package:

  • Kickstart PMU Courses and

  • Supercharged PMU Packages

…are delivered by one of our UK PMU Experts certified tutors.

All tutors follow the same curriculum, standards, mapping systems, and teaching structure.

You will also receive ongoing support from our Head Trainer, Amy Louise, both before and after your academy days.

What Is Included in Kickstart PMU Courses

Kickstart PMU Courses teach beginner-level permanent makeup techniques using the UK PMU Experts Method™.

This includes:

Brows — The UK PMU Experts Method

You will learn:

  • Our standardised brow mapping method (as demonstrated in Skool training videos)

  • Beginner hair-stroke technique

  • Basic shading using an ombre style

  • Combination brows using the above methods

  • Full theory including anatomy, healing, pigment science, undertones and consultation structure

You will NOT be taught:

  • Advanced nano work

  • Hyper-realism brows

  • Every mapping method seen online or taught by other academies

Our method ensures consistency, safety and success for beginners.

Lips — The UK PMU Experts Method

You will learn:

  • Our lip mapping technique using a red lip line and white surgical outline

  • Beginner lip blush technique

  • Full lip theory including consultation, contraindications, healing and pigment choice

You will NOT be taught at Kickstart level:

  • Advanced lip neutralisation

  • Specialist correction work

  • Multiple mapping styles from online sources

Advanced lip neutralisation is available as an optional CPD course.

Eyeliner — The UK PMU Experts Method

You will learn:

  • Basic eyelash enhancement

  • Classic liner technique

  • Eyeliner anatomy, eye-shape theory, needle control and stretch techniques

You will NOT be taught:

  • Winged eyeliner

  • Shaded eyeliner

  • Smokey effects or advanced mapping variations

These advanced styles are available separately.

Social Media Expectations

The permanent makeup industry contains a wide range of techniques, mapping methods and stylistic approaches.

We teach the UK PMU Experts Method™ — not every technique you may see on TikTok, Instagram or other academies’ pages.

If you wish to learn:

  • Advanced techniques

  • Alternative mapping systems

  • Specialist trends

…these may require additional advanced training, and are not included in Kickstart courses.

Support & Practice Requirements

We offer:

  • Unlimited coaching calls

  • Unlimited shadowing (subject to availability)

  • Mentoring and community support through Skool

  • Optional retake or supervised model days if confidence is not achieved after using support

However, you agree that:

  • You are responsible for booking calls and attending sessions

  • Progress depends on consistent practice, ideally daily

  • Confidence is developed through repetition, not just attendance

Kits & Equipment

Unless stated clearly at the time of booking:

❗ Kits are NOT included in kickstart courses.

You can purchase a starter kit for £500 + VAT (£600).

Your invoice and course confirmation will state if a kit is included.
If it is not listed, it is not included.

Supercharged PMU Package

This includes everything in Kickstart plus:

  • Online additional courses including advanced modules such as:

    • Lip Neutralisation

    • Winged & Shaded Eyeliner

    • Advanced Hair Strokes/Nano Brows

    • Saline Removal

  • Marketing Training

  • Custom sales funnel & drip campaign (once onboarding checklist is complete)

  • 6-month marketing support with the above systems provided

  • PMU Starter kit with machine and pigments

This package also requires commitment, practice, and engagement.

Ultimate PMU Pro Package

This includes everything in the Supercharged PMU Package, PLUS:

  • 1:1 in-person academy training exclusively with Amy Louise

  • Opportunity for additional supervised models

  • 12 months of funnel and marketing support

This is our most personalised pathway.

Level 4 Micropigmentation Qualification

All PMU training with us begins with ABT accredited training.

❗ Level 4 Micropigmentation is an optional upgrade — not automatically included.

  • Some London boroughs now request Level 4 for licensing

  • Many councils across the UK still only require accredited training plus insurance

📌 It is the student’s responsibility to check their local licensing requirements before beginning treatment work.

Upgrading to Level 4

  • Cost: £500 upgrade fee

  • Additional supervised treatments may be required

  • Level 4 takes approximately 3–6 months to complete

  • Substantial theory, case studies, and written work are required

Prerequisite: Level 3 Beauty

To enrol onto a Level 4 qualification, you must already hold a Level 3 Beauty qualification.

If you do not, we offer Level 3 for £350.

Student Agreement

By booking your course and signing our student enrolment form, you confirm:

  • You understand which training package you have booked

  • You understand your course techniques are based on the UK PMU Experts Method™

  • You understand additional mapping and social media techniques require further training

  • You understand kits are not included unless stated

  • You acknowledge support is available but must be used proactively

  • You accept responsibility for checking licensing requirements in the area you intend to work

  • You understand Level 4 is optional and not automatically part of your course
