Student Etiquette Policy

At UK PMU Experts, we’re passionate about creating a high-vibe, supportive, and professional learning environment where every student feels confident, respected, and inspired to grow.
Our etiquette policy helps ensure that all students have a positive experience while maintaining the professional standards expected within the beauty and permanent makeup industry.

Professional Conduct

All students are expected to behave with professionalism and respect at all times — towards tutors, models, fellow students, and staff.
Please arrive with a positive attitude, ready to learn and open to feedback.
Disruptive, rude, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from training without refund.

Punctuality & Attendance

Please arrive on time for every session. Late arrivals can cause disruption and reduce your hands-on learning time.
If you anticipate being late or unable to attend, contact your tutor as early as possible.
Repeated lateness or missed sessions may affect your progression and certification.

Dress Code & Hygiene

You are representing yourself as a professional PMU artist in training.

  • Wear clean, professional attire — dark uniform or clinic wear is preferred.

  • Closed-toe shoes must be worn for health and safety.

  • Long hair should be tied back, and nails should be short and clean (no long acrylics or gels when working on models).

  • Personal hygiene and presentation are key — please arrive fresh, clean, and ready for a professional environment.

Phones & Devices

Please keep phones on silent during lessons and practical sessions.
You’re welcome to take photos or videos for learning and portfolio purposes when instructed by your tutor, but social media posting must respect client confidentiality and academy privacy.

Learning Environment

We promote an uplifting, encouraging space.
Support your peers, celebrate each other’s wins, and remember that everyone learns at their own pace.
Constructive feedback is part of your growth — take it as guidance, not criticism.
Any form of gossip, negativity, or judgmental behaviour goes against our academy values and will not be tolerated.

Communication

Please communicate openly and professionally with your tutors.
If you’re unsure about anything, ask! We’re here to help you.
All communication — whether in person, by message, or in Skool — should be polite, respectful, and in line with the academy’s high standards.

Models

Treat all models with the same professionalism and care as paying clients.
Be kind, calm, and reassuring throughout their treatment.
Remember that your tutor will supervise and guide you — but you are responsible for treating every model respectfully and safely.

Accountability & Progress

Our students are expected to take responsibility for their own learning — completing online modules, quizzes, and assignments within a reasonable timeframe.
Active participation helps you build confidence and achieve the most from your training experience.
