Training Quality Assurance Policy

Purpose

At UK PMU Experts, we are committed to delivering exceptional training experiences across all of our ABT-accredited courses.
This policy outlines how we maintain consistent, fair, and professional standards throughout all areas of training, assessment, and learner support for our non-regulated (ABT) qualifications.

Our goal is to ensure that every student receives clear guidance, effective teaching, and accurate assessment that reflects genuine skill development and industry readiness.

Scope

This policy applies to all ABT-accredited training courses delivered by UK PMU Experts and covers:

  • Course design, delivery, and assessment.

  • Tutor and student responsibilities.

  • Quality monitoring and feedback.

  • Internal review and continuous improvement processes.

Our Quality Commitment

We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of:

  • Professionalism – providing safe, structured, and supportive training environments.

  • Consistency – ensuring all tutors deliver content in line with approved course materials.

  • Fairness – assessing learners objectively and without bias.

  • Compliance – following ABT accreditation requirements, insurance standards, and UK legislation.

  • Improvement – regularly reviewing course materials, tutor performance, and learner outcomes.

Tutor Responsibilities

All tutors delivering ABT-accredited courses must:

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification and current industry certification.

  • Deliver training using approved lesson plans, manuals, and resources created by UK PMU Experts.

  • Ensure all students understand learning objectives and assessment criteria.

  • Provide clear demonstrations, constructive feedback, and equal learning opportunities for all.

  • Maintain accurate training records, attendance sheets, and assessment documentation.

  • Adhere to all academy policies including Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity, Bullying & Harassment, and Data Protection.

Tutors are expected to complete annual CPD to maintain current skills and compliance with ABT’s professional standards.

Student Responsibilities

All students are expected to:

  • Attend all scheduled training sessions and arrive on time.

  • Participate fully in both theory and practical elements.

  • Follow tutor guidance and academy policies at all times.

  • Treat tutors, staff, peers, and models with respect and professionalism.

  • Complete all written and practical assessments honestly and independently.

  • Notify the tutor of any health concerns or learning needs before training begins.

  • Provide constructive feedback to support ongoing improvement of the course.

Failure to meet these expectations may result in removal from the course without refund.

Assessment Standards

All assessments within ABT courses will:

  • Be conducted by qualified, impartial tutors.

  • Measure learners against clearly defined learning outcomes.

  • Include both theory (knowledge) and practical (skills) components.

  • Be supported by written feedback to help students improve.

Assessment decisions are reviewed by the Centre Coordinator to ensure fairness and accuracy.

Quality Monitoring & Feedback

We continuously monitor the quality of our ABT courses through:

  • Tutor performance reviews and standardisation meetings.

  • Student feedback forms completed at the end of each course.

  • Review of student outcomes and case study quality.

  • Ongoing updates to course materials, manuals, and resources.

A feedback form is sent to all students after training, and we greatly value the time taken to share honest feedback.
This process helps us identify what’s working well and where we can improve, ensuring every future course builds on learner experience and insight.

Feedback is carefully reviewed and used to enhance future training delivery and maintain our commitment to continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement

We are committed to reviewing and improving our ABT training provision regularly by:

  • Analysing learner and tutor feedback.

  • Incorporating industry updates and new techniques into training.

  • Reviewing assessment practices for consistency.

  • Updating resources, manuals, and teaching aids where needed.

Policy Review & Updates

All ABT-related policies, procedures, and training documents are reviewed annually or sooner if there are significant operational, industry, or accreditation changes.

UK PMU Experts reserves the right to update or amend this policy at any time without prior notice.
The most recent version will always be available in the academy policy folder and within student course materials.

Our Quality Promise

We believe that genuine confidence and skill come from structured education, professional guidance, and continued support.
This Quality Assurance Policy ensures that every ABT-accredited course delivered by UK PMU Experts upholds the same professional, high-standard experience our academy is known for — empowering students to achieve excellence in their craft and careers.
